Popmundo
Popmundo’ is an online roleplaying game and community where the players strive for fame in a virtual music industry. (www.popmundo.com)
I started making illustrations for ’Popmundo’ late in 2006. The challenge was to find my own ‘Popmundo’ style that would include humor but at the same time be cool.
After several sketches and experimentation, my effort ended
up in the new manner that characterizes ‘Popmundo’ today. The work has also developed my skills how to illustrate.
The ‘Popmundo’-illustrations in the game describes different characters, places and cities of the world. There are many references to music and films in the drawings, sometimes visible and sometimes hidden in the background or even as hidden messages for the sharp-sighted.
